Edmonton Regional Chair - Fil Fraser is an author, columnist, radio personality, television program director, and radio, television & feature film producer. He is currently an adjunct professor of Communications Studies at Athabasca University where he teaches a graduate course on film policy.

Chair - Karen Carter is the Executive Director of Heritage Toronto, an arms length agency of the City of Toronto responsible for the education and promotion of Toronto’s Heritage. She has over fifteen years of management experience working in a variety of arts and cultural settings in Toronto.

Asha Davis - Secretary
Vancouver Regional Chair - Charmaine Crooks is a five-time Olympian and Olympic Silver Medalist. She is President/Founder of NGU Consultants, a sports marketing, management and corporate consulting company, which provides strategic counsel and growth strategies to major corporations around the world. A sought-after keynote speaker at national and international conferences, corporate meetings and retreats, Crook frequently speaks on team building, leadership, inspiration and the Olympic Movement.
Earl Modeste  - Treasurer
Halifax Regional Chair - Karen Hudson is an African Nova Scotian who is actively involved in her community and school. Presently, she is Vice-Principal at Halifax West High School. She was an active member of the former Cultural Awareness Youth Group of Nova a group that was dedicated to teaching people of African descent about their culture and history.



Rhodnie Desir  - Montreal Regional Chair
Montreal Regional Chair Rhodnie Desir is a fervent defendant of art, cultural diversity and of entrepreneurship. She is a choreographer, manager and cultural mediator who has always used her knowledge within the cultural sector. In 2008, she founded DÊZAM where she created over twenty jobs opportunities for professional artists as well as cultural workers. As a dancer and choreographer, she was recently elected as an administrator for the Regroupement Québécois de la Danse (RQD) Board of Directors.
Earl Modeste  - Treasurer
Andrew Alleyne is the President of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers since 2003. Alleyne is a Corporate Lawyer and Partner with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP. He is engaged in a broad corporate/commercial practice with a particular interest in information technology, outsourcing and private company mergers and acquisitions.
